We are a set of extremely enthusiastic individuals running a multi-locational Dance Institute called The QuickStep. We specialize in teaching Latin American, Salsa and Standard Ballroom Dancing and have been in the business for the past ten years.

What do we do ?
 

Well, we can certainly teach ANYONE how to dance !

We conduct a variety of full-fledged courses, short-term courses as well as workshops in Latin American, Salsa and Standard Ballroom Dancing. These courses and workshops are conducted at centers of our own as well as at locations of our corporate and institutional clients.

International Standards
 

Care is taken to ensure that the dances are taught adhering to International Standards. ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) are the two world bodies whose guidelines are followed the world over in terms of course content and technique. DanceSport is the world body which is looked upon as a reference for performance parameters. We receive entry forms to send participants from India for certain international competitions and performances. We also have listings on international websites as a Latin, Salsa and Standard Ballroom Dance Institute.

We are proud to have a resource center in which we have a vast collection of international manuals, books, videos, music and other instructional as well as descriptive material on dance. Our resource center is constantly updated by the purchase of the best available material world-wide

Complete Customization, to start with. We can conduct workshops and courses of any duration, at any place, and for as many people as you may want. We could devise a plan which would be completely suited to your need. 

Workshops focus on Fun. They usually involve an introduction to a particular dance style and a few basic steps. The number of people that can be accommodated in a workshop is much larger than a course. Workshops may also be intensive over a few days to learn much more.

Courses are much more in-depth with sustained interaction over time. Though the element of fun is retained, an underlying level of seriousness is what comes in. A course accommodates fewer students and many more dances and moves are covered. Courses may sometimes stretch over months or sometimes be encapsulated to fit a few days or weeks.

Methodology
 

Fun! Our objective is to ensure that everyone has lots of fun and everything that we do is aimed at that. Our environment and attitude towards participants is very light, easy and informal. Our classes are always high on energy-levels. While at the base of it we are extremely professional in delivering quality, we always want people to laugh with us all the time!
