Anand Majumdar - Founder

 
Dance Maestro Anand Majumdar has been a noted exponent of dance for the last ten years. He specializes in teaching Latin Ballroom, Standard Ballroom, Salsa, Rueda Salsa and is the only teacher of the beautiful Argentine Tango. His multi-location dance school has 5 branches all over Mumbai and has been responsible for teaching 10,000 people how to dance in the last 5 years. He has the distinction of corporate tie-ups with Taj Hotels, Hsbc bank, Sahara India, 3 global services, WNS, Infosys, IIT Mumbai, and IIM Ahmedabad among many others. Undoubtedly the best teacher, his vast knowledge enables him to elaborate and articulate every detail of dance movement. His dance school is the only school in India to teach all forms of partner dancing ranging from ballroom, to salsa, to tango.

An Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer by qualification, Anand worked for several years in the computer software development industry. In addition to this he has been into Human Resource Development, imparting behavioral training to corporates. Anand decided to pursue setting up a dance school because of his passion for dance and performing arts.

In addition to running a dance company, he is a DJ, a Fashion Photographer and Marathon runner. 
 
 

Extremely hard-working and dedicated. Dharini manages all the important back-end functions of the company with great ease. Willingness to learn, humility and a goal-oriented approach are her biggest strengths.

Jigar Mehta has been with the quickstep since its inception and has been thru all its ups and downs. He is the backbone and support system of the company and specializes in teaching dance forms like the rumba, bolero, cross body salsa and tango. He has had the distinction of single handedly conducting workshops comprising 2000 participants all over india. A Banking and Finance professional by qualification, he is motivated solely by his passion for dancing and is today the senior-most teachers of the company. 

He has a passion for paragliding, adventure sports and was a professional marathon runner.
 

 Energy and enthusiam are the two words which personify samyr. A big big passion and drive in all his endeavors. A huge help to us.
